Guruji Ka Ashram (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at Bhatti Mines, Chhatarpur, New Delhi, operates the GKA SewaSutra mobile application (“App”).

This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the App. The App is strictly for internal administrative purposes at Guruji Ka Ashram, such as Sewadar attendance and registrations, and is not intended for public or commercial distribution.

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you consent to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

  1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary for App functionality:

  • Google Sign-In Data: Email address and name from your Google Account for authentication and role assignment.​
  • Sewadar Data: Master records (SurfaceID, Name, Mobile Number, Area, Type, Status) entered during registration;
  • Attendance logs (Date, Time In/Out, User ID, System Timestamp).​
  • Device & Usage Data: Basic device info (e.g., Android version, device ID for troubleshooting), diagnostic logs, and temporary cached data stored in app-private storage (cleared on logout or uninstall).​
  • No location, camera, contacts, or sensitive personal data (e.g., health, religion) is collected.
  • No biometric or financial data is handled.

 

  1. How We Use Information

Data is used solely for:

  • Authenticating users and enforcing role-based access (e.g., Sewadars vs. Admins).
  • Displaying/editing master records and marking attendance.
  • Preventing duplicate entries and generating internal reports.
  • Troubleshooting app stability via logs.
  • No data is used for advertising, marketing or third-party analytics.

 

  1. Google Services Usage

The App uses:

  • Google Sign-In: For secure login, complying with Google API Services User Data Policy.
  • Google Sheets API: To read/write attendance data in a restricted, private spreadsheet.
  • All usage adheres to Google’s Limited Use requirements; no user data is shared beyond Google services.

 

  1. Data Sharing
  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
  • Access is limited to authorized ashram admins and users viewing their own/assigned records.
  • Data may be disclosed only if required by law or to protect ashram rights. 
  1. Data Retention
  • Attendance/master data retained per ashram policy (typically 1-2 years for audits).
  • Local caches auto-clear on app close/uninstall; request permanent deletion via admins.
  • Upon account revocation, all associated data is removed from active use.
  1. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards:

  • OAuth 2.0 for authentication.
  • Restricted Google Sheets permissions (domain-specific if applicable).
  • Encrypted local storage; HTTPS for all API calls.
    No system is 100% secure; but reasonable safeguards are applied.
  1. User Rights

As an authorized user:

  • Access, correct, or delete your data via App admins.
  • Revoke app access anytime via Google Account settings.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children or minors.

We do not knowingly collect their data. If aware, we delete it promptly.

Updates will be posted in the App with the new date.
